Summer is here and in Florida it means trying not to melt or burn to a crisp every time we decide to do something outside. Thankfully we can do one of our favorite activities in the comfort of air conditioning. We’re talking about our Dungeon Defenders June Community XP Event for 360 and PS3. First we need to figure out what map and modifier you would like to play. Take this survey and let us know. We’ll be announcing the winning map and modifier on Wednesday, June 19 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Everyone that we get into our tavern will receive 50 million XP that will go to the hero of their choice. Plus you can sit back, grab a nice cold glass of iced tea, and chat with us. Dungeon Defenders May Community XP Event Map and Modifier for 360 and PS3

Monday, May 20th, 2013

The Ancient Dragon is back, and he’s out to get some revenge. He had underestimated the young heroes in their last encounter. He allowed pride to be his downfall, but this time will be different. The Ancient Dragon realized that our heroes were strong as long as their foe walked around where they could reach them. They were much weaker if their enemy attacked from the sky, completely out of reach of their weapons. Word spread that the Ancient Dragon was gathering an army and planned to attack the Castle once more. As the deadly army got closer to the Castle, the Ancient Dragon’s pride got the best of him as he boasted about his new battle strategy of attacking the heroes from the sky. After all, even if the heroes knew what he was planning, they couldn’t stop him. Or so he thought. The heroes turned to the Castle engineers for help and together they decided that the only way to defeat the Ancient Dragon would be with the help of the Grav-o-tron 3000. Will that be enough? You get to decide when you play this month’s Community XP Event! Your winning map and modifier are:

Low Gravity on The Summit!

Trendy Friday Fun: The aMAZEing Maze

Friday, May 17th, 2013

Today on our Trendy Friday Fun livestream we are excited to show off this week’s PC Community Event map! This isn’t your normal defend-the-Ethernia-Crystal map. Instead of defending the crystal, you must find it. Sounds easy right? We thought so too. After all the time we spent playing every map and seeing every corner of the castle, where could you hide something like that? How about a giant maze the PC Events crew designed just for this event. A maze so impressive, it would make Dominic Cobb proud. We should warn you that get getting lost is not the only danger you will face in this map. It seems like the owner of this maze decided to borrow something from the King Minos mythology.

What could it be? If you are a fan of navigating a labyrinth, corn maze, wheat maze or foggy haze, join @iamisom, @darkpython98 and @laurawantsacow to find out!he event will run from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. EDT, and we’ll drop Dungeon Defenders II beta codes in the chat.

The aMAZEing MAZE event will be running from Saturday to Tuesday (5/18 – 5/21). To participate, simply sign-up at the following link.

Last Call: Dungeon Defenders April Community XP Event for PS3 and 360

Monday, April 22nd, 2013

We can’t believe that April is almost over. Where did our days go? Maybe the question is not ‘where’ but how did the days pass by so quickly. Using only the finest of Elf magic (and asking one very scared Kobold) we found the source of our time dilemma. The Dark Elves managed to use their warriors to jump all the way up to the very top of the castle and install a Time Forwarding Device. Not knowing what to do, we headed over to our Kobold prisoner only to find that he had escaped and alerted the enemy. It is now up to us to hold off the waves of Elves and Ogres the will attack our Ramparts while the castle engineers figure out how to deactivate the Time Forwarding Device before it’s too late!

You guys have voted and here it is. The winning map and modifier are: 2x Speed on The Ramparts!

The PS3 event will take place on Tuesday and the 360 event will be on Thursday. Both events will run from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT. If you are interested in participating, you can go to the PS3 sign-up thread or the 360 sign-up thread. All you will have to do is comment on there with your name, Gamertag/PSN ID and what time of the day (in EDT please) you will be online. PS3 sign-ups close at 11:59 p.m. EDT today, and 360 sign-ups close at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Signing up does not guarantee entry. We’ll randomize entrants and post the final list on a Google doc that I’ll create once I close the thread. You can win 50 million XP and get to talk to us Trendy Folk. Hope to see you guys there!
